Library-Media Center Hours 


​We are generally open from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. unless otherwise posted.

Exception: Wednesday opening times vary depending on our collaboration time events.

The RMHS Library-Media Center is currently closed due to COVID-19,
but we are still here to assist you virtually! Please email Heather McCarthy at hmccarthy@psusd.us if you need assistance from the Media Center.

Library-Media Center Policies​

A visible student ID is required in order to use the Media Center facilities and check out items!

Library Borrowing Policies
​• Students may borrow up to 5 physical library books at a time. (Although we will usually
  make an exception for you to borrow more if you have been good about returning items!)

• Physical library books are due 2 weeks from the checkout date.
• Library books may be renewed up to 3 times as long as there is no waiting list for the
  title. 
 
• There are NO overdue fines for OverDrive/Sora eBooks and audiobooks.

• Overdue fines for physical library books are 10 cents per day (up to $5) once they are   
  past the due date.

  • Pay attention to the date on the yellow card inside the book!
  • Renew your book in person (can be done using your ID or the book itself) or renew online using these directions:

Technology Usage
• Students must sign in at the check in station in order to enter the Media Center.
• Students must have a signed Student Use of Technology Agreement on file in order to
  use RMHS
 technology.
• Use of Media Center computers for entertainment purposes is not acceptable during
  class time. 
 
• Computer use for recreational purposes is permissible before school, during lunch, and
  after school
 as long as other students do not need the computers for research
  or
 assignment completion and computer activities remain school appropriate.
